After breakfast at your hotel depart for a private guided tour around Cairo. Gaze at the piercing stare of the Sphinx and admire the largest man made structure, the Pyramids at Giza. Lunch will be served at the local traditional restaurant. Continue your tour onto the world famous Grand Egyptian Museum where you can find treasures such as those from the Boy King Tutankhamen before being transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for overnight. In the morning transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival in Luxor transfer to Esna pier for embarkation. Enjoy lunch on board. Travel along an avenue of ram headed sphinxes, extending for about two miles, which link Luxor Temple with the Karnak Temple. Continue to Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, the only woman pharaoh to reign in ancient Egypt, followed by stop near Colossi of Memnon - two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. After a relaxing breakfast while crossing the Esna Lock. Sail to Edfu and visit after lunch the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu. said to be the one of the greatest and best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to Horus it tells many stories through its numerous inscriptions. After breakfast arrival in Aswan and disembarkation from the Dahabeya cruise. Visit famous Aswan High Dam which was completed in 1971 before touring the Old Dam which was built from locally quarried granite and completed 1902. After the tour of the two dams, continue onto Philae Island to visit the Philae Temple, which is dedicated to the Goddess Isis. Transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo.
