We set off towards Valencia, following the Costa Dorada and the Ebro Delta until we reach Peñíscola, where we can see the film locations of “El Cid” and “Game of Thrones.” We continue to Valencia, where we taste a typical “horchata” (tiger milk) and have the opportunity to explore the city. Today, we continue towards Andalusia to reach Granada. This city, located at the foot of Sierra Nevada, between the Darro and Genil rivers, is a jewel of Andalusia. We have the chance to learn how to dance flamenco before dinner with a flamenco show. Discover the beauties of the city with a guided city tour. The contemporary Madrid with areas such as Gran Vía, Castellana, the district of Salamanca and the emblematic Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. Bound for Portugal, we drive towards Salamanca. Enjoy some free time in this University City and World Heritage Site of great architectural and artistic wealth. Continue to the Portuguese border to reach Porto. Located along the Douro River estuary in northern Portugal, Porto is one of the oldest European towns and proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996. After breakfast, take a guided sightseeing tour of Porto. Admire the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building and Santa Clara church. We depart to Aveiro, known for its picturesque canals, which have earned it the nickname “The Venice of Portugal”. Enjoy a ride on a moliceiro, a traditional colourful boat used for navigating the canals of Aveiro, before heading to Coimbra. We meet the local guide for a tour of Coimbra, a historic city known for its prestigious university (one of the oldest in Europe), charming medieval streets, and beautiful riverfront. After breakfast, depart for the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline style considered a World Heritage place by UNESCO. Continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré and enjoy time at leisure.
