Upon arrival at Zagreb airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Zagreb at Hotel Dubrovnik or similar.

Enjoy a day at leisure in the capital city of Croatia. With a rich history dating back to 1094, Zagreb offers you many places to visit. We recommend an optional walking tour tour to admire “Upper Town,” the Cathedral of Mary’s Assumption, and the Gothic Church of St. Mark. As charming as the upper town is also the "Lower Town” with its centre on Jelacic square. Do not miss the Museum of broken Relationships located in the barogue palace displaying personal objects from former lovers along with brief synopses. For dinner do not forget to taste Pasticada, black Risotto or other famous local food. Overnight in Zagreb at Hotel Dubrovnik or similar. (B)

In the morning you will be transferred from Zagreb to Plitvice Lake. This drive will take you inland to one of the biggest gems of inland Croatia, its National park of Plitvice Lakes. The park was established in 1949, which makes it the oldest in Croatia and listed under Unesco 1979. It covers the area just under 300 square kilometres but its main attraction are the 16 named lakes and the waterfalls created by travertine. The play of sun on the surface of the water, together with the micro-organisms and algae, gives the lakes their distinctive colour varying from blue to emerald to green and almost black in the colder months. Free time to explore the park as the entrance tickets to the park are included. Optional 4 hours tour also available at extra cost. Overnight in Plitvice at Hotel Jezero or similar. (B)

This morning you will be transferred from Plitvice to Split. Drop off at the hotel or Cruise terminal. (B)
