- Delhi: Take a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi.
- New Delhi: During your orientation of New Delhi, visit Humayun's Tomb, and see India Gate and the Qutub Minar complex.
- Taj Mahal: Admire the Taj Mahal, one of the most iconic treasures of world heritage.
- Jaipur: During an orientation of Jaipur, visit the Amber Fort, City Palace and Jantar Mantar Observatory.
- Jodhpur: You’ll make your way to Jodhpur, the “Blue City”, where the massive walls of Mehrangarh Fort stand 393 feet above the surrounding plains. Explore its seven gates, bastions and palaces, moving through cool stone interiors to rooms filled with Rajput miniature paintings and museum treasures, before looking down over the tangle of blue-painted lanes below. Then wind down the hill to Jaswant Thada, where pale marble glows against the desert landscape and finely carved lattice screens filter the light across portraits of Rathore rulers dating back to the 13th century.
- Enter the white-marble world of Ranakpur, tucked into a remote valley of the Aravalli Hills, where Chaumukha Mandir is dedicated to Adinath, the first Jain saint. Inside, you’ll move through 29 halls and wide corridors beneath 80 domes, with 1,444 individually carved pillars creating shifting patterns of light and shadow around you. Soft peach and beige stone are carved with elephants, flowers and human figures, while overhead, nymphs and maidens playing musical instruments appear across the domed ceilings.
- Udaipur: Visit the City Palace complex, a testimony to the Rajput passion for art and architecture.
- Udaipur: At Udaipur’s flower market near Hathipole, you breathe in the perfume of jasmine and roses among heaps of vivid marigolds. Meet the family behind Laxmi Flowers and hear how these blooms are woven into wedding garlands, temple rituals and celebrations across Rajasthan.
