Day 1 - Highlights of Spain & Portugal Premium Small Group Tour - Arrival
Upon arrival in Barcelona, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later, you'll meet your Tour Leader and fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. This is a great opportunity to get to know everyone while enjoying good food and wine.

Arrival airport transfers are included as part of your package. You will be met upon arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
If Inspiring Vacations has not provided your international airfares, please ensure you provide your flight details via your Traveller Hub portal no later than 90 days prior to travel so that your transfers can be confirmed.
If you are arriving early and have made your own arrangements prior to your tour commencing, airport transfers will not be included. However, if you are purchasing pre-nights accommodation as part of your Inspiring Vacations package, airport transfers will still be provided to the starting hotel.We recommend you to select flights that arrive no later than 5pm so you can enjoy the itinerary from the beginning.
Day 2 - 14 Day Highlights of Spain & Portugal Premium Small Group Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour of Barcelona, where you'll drive along the main avenues to see Gaudi modernist buildings such as La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. The tour also includes Montjuïc Park, with spectacular views of the city and harbor, the Olympic Ring, the monument to Columbus, and the Olympic Port. You will also visit the Sagrada Familia (entrance included), the most important landmark in the city.
The tour continues to Port Vell to board a catamaran for a sail along the beautiful coastline, where you will be welcomed on board with music, a courtesy drink, and a typical local tapa.
The afternoon is at your leisure to keep on discovering the city.

Day 3 - 14 Day Highlights of Spain & Portugal Premium Small Group Tour
After breakfast, we set off towards Valencia, following the Costa Dorada and the Ebro Delta until we reach Peñíscola, where you can see the film locations of "El Cid" and "Game of Thrones."
We will then continue to Valencia, where you will have the chance to taste a typical "horchata" (tiger milk). You will have time to explore the city, including the modern City of Arts and Sciences Architectural Complex. The complex is integrated by six elements: Hemispheric, Umbracle, Science Museum, Oceanographic, Palau de les Arts and Ágora. Explore the old town and the exterior of the most avant-garde complex: Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias.

This evening offers a special cultural experience—you'll have the chance to learn the passionate art of flamenco with a fun and engaging dance lesson. Later, enjoy a traditional Andalusian dinner while watching an authentic flamenco show in one of Granada's most iconic venues—an unforgettable night of rhythm, flavor, and local spirit.

Our journey then continues north as we drive through the striking landscapes of Despeñaperros, the natural gateway between Andalusia and the heart of Spain. We travel across the vast plains of La Mancha, the legendary land of Don Quixote, before arriving in Madrid.

From there, we continue our journey across the Portuguese border toward the enchanting city of Porto, nestled along the scenic Douro River estuary in northern Portugal.

After breakfast, you will join a morning city sightseeing tour of ancient Olissipo. The tour includes a drive through the main squares and avenues, Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Monument to the Discoverers, Marquis of Pombal Square, and Liberty Avenue. The afternoon is at your leisure to catch the nostalgic corners of the Alfama Quarter, the old city gathered next to its castle, with old buildings nested in narrow twisting "Ruas" full of color housing the genuine "tabernas". The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy this magnificent city.

Departure transfers are included as part of your package. You will be collected from your hotel at the appropriate time and transferred to the airport to meet your flight.If you choose to extend your stay (e.g., departing after the final tour date) and have booked your additional accommodation independently, this included service will be forfeited and no refund will be issued.
