Day 1 - Arrival at destination
Today you will board your flight to Hawaii, ready for the adventure ahead. Thanks to crossing the International Date Line eastbound, you arrive in Honolulu on the same calendar day as your departure. Upon arrival, please make your own way to the starting point hotel. Take the evening to relax after your flight and prepare for your first full day tomorrow.
Please note: Some flights may depart Australia the night before, to arrive on Day 1.
Arrival & Check-in informationThe easiest and most convenient way to travel from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) to your hotel is to book airport transfers using your Traveller Hub (booked 7+ days in advance). Alternatively, the airport is well served by taxi, rideshare and shuttle services that connect directly to the Waikiki area. For more information or assistance with these services, please check with the Information Desk after leaving the baggage claim area.
Hotel check-in time is at 3pm. If arriving prior to this, you will be able to leave your luggage with hotel reception and explore your surroundings until check-in becomes available. The hotel may grant early check-in, however this is strictly subject to availability and at the hotel's discretion.
Day 2 - Arrival at destination
Today is yours to explore Honolulu and Waikiki at your own pace. The golden sand and clear water of Waikiki Beach sit just steps from the hotel district, and a short stroll east takes you to Kapiolani Park at the foot of Diamond Head. For history, Iolani Palace in downtown Honolulu was the residence of the Hawaiian royal family. Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial are also within easy reach by taxi or organised tour, offering a moving experience at the site of the December 1941 attack. The Bishop Museum provides an excellent overview of Hawaiian and Pacific culture for those interested in the wider region's heritage.
Day 3 - Arrival at destination
Enjoy a second full day at leisure in Honolulu. Hanauma Bay, a protected marine reserve to the east of the city, offers calm waters ideal for gentle snorkelling and a chance to see colourful reef life. The North Shore, around 90 minutes from Waikiki, is famed for its laid back surf towns and rugged coastline. Closer to the city, the Honolulu Museum of Art houses an impressive collection of Asian, European and Hawaiian works, and the Foster Botanical Garden showcases tropical plants from across the Pacific. Alternatively, settle in for the day with a beachside lunch and an afternoon to soak up the Hawaiian atmosphere ahead of tomorrow's embarkation.
Day 4 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and make your own way to the cruise terminal at Honolulu Harbor. Welcome aboard Celebrity Edge and step into the signature Edge Class experience as you settle into your stateroom. Take time to explore the ship's many dining venues, lounges, pool deck and outdoor spaces. Enjoy lunch onboard and unwind ahead of departure. Your journey begins as the ship sails from Honolulu in the early evening, bound for the South Pacific.
Day 5 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Wake up to a full day at sea aboard Celebrity Edge. Start your morning with a leisurely breakfast before enjoying the ship's many amenities. Relax at the spa, take part in onboard activities, or enjoy live entertainment. Indulge in dining this evening as you sail towards French Polynesia.
Day 6 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Another relaxing day at sea. Take advantage of the spa facilities, settle into a comfortable spot with a book, or join your fellow guests for one of the onboard activities. Mealtimes punctuate the day with a wide choice of dining venues, from the main restaurant to the casual buffet and a range of specialty options.
Day 7 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Continue your journey south across the Pacific. As the ship moves closer to the equator, the climate becomes warmer and the days noticeably brighter. Spend time on the pool deck, take in a presentation in the theatre, or treat yourself to something from the spa menu. Evenings bring a choice of entertainment from live music to feature performances.
Day 8 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Another full day at sea with several days of sailing still ahead before your first port of call. Today is a chance to truly slow down, with no schedules to keep and plenty of time to enjoy the ship at a relaxed pace.
Day 9 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Your final day at sea before reaching French Polynesia. Use today to plan your shore time in the islands ahead, attend an onboard talk about the region, or simply enjoy the slow pace of life at sea. Watch the sunset from your Infinite Veranda in anticipation of tomorrow's arrival in Moorea.
Day 10 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
This morning you will arrive in Moorea, one of the most striking islands in the South Pacific. Jagged volcanic peaks rise sharply from the lagoon, framed by white sand beaches and clear turquoise water. As this is a tendered port, small boats will ferry you ashore from the ship. Free time today to explore independently or join an optional shore excursion. The island is famed for its snorkelling and dolphin watching in Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay. The ship departs Moorea in the evening.

Day 11 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Today you will arrive in Raiatea, considered the sacred or mother island of eastern Polynesia. The island is home to Marae Taputapuatea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant Polynesian ceremonial complexes in the Pacific. Beyond the cultural sites, the lagoon shared with neighbouring Tahaa offers excellent snorkelling. Free time today to explore the main town of Uturoa, browse the local market, or take an optional tour into the island's lush interior.

Day 12 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Arrive in Papeete, capital of French Polynesia and the cultural heart of Tahiti. The waterfront sits at the centre of the city, with the lively Marche de Papeete just a short walk away. The covered market is the place to browse for black pearls, vanilla, tropical flowers and local crafts. Beyond the city, Tahiti's mountainous interior is home to waterfalls and lush valleys, and a coastal drive offers views across to neighbouring Moorea. Your ship remains in Papeete overnight, giving you a full day and evening to experience Tahitian hospitality.
Day 13 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Papeete with time to make any final purchases at the market or take a short excursion to one of the nearby attractions. Around the middle of the day, return to the ship as Celebrity Edge prepares to depart Tahiti and continue west across the South Pacific. Watch from your Infinite Veranda as the volcanic peaks of Tahiti slip below the horizon.
Day 14 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Begin the westbound crossing of the South Pacific bound for New Zealand. Today is a full day at sea with plenty of time to enjoy the ship's facilities. Take in the views from the open decks, browse the onboard programme of activities, or simply relax with a good book. Overnight, the ship will cross the International Date Line.
Day 15 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise

Special Information
Overnight, the ship crossed the International Date Line, moving from the eastern hemisphere into the western hemisphere. As a result, one calendar day (Friday 9 October) is omitted from the journey. The ship's onboard calendar now aligns with that of New Zealand and Australia.

Day 17 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Your final day at sea before reaching New Zealand. The temperature begins to cool as the ship moves into the southern latitudes. Use today to attend one of the onboard talks about your upcoming destinations, enjoy a final spa treatment, or simply take in the view from your Infinite Veranda.
Day 18 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Arrive in Tauranga, the gateway to the Bay of Plenty and one of New Zealand's most attractive coastal cities. The harbour is dominated by Mount Maunganui, an extinct volcano with a walking track to the summit and golden sand beaches at its base. Tauranga is also the closest port to Rotorua, around an hour inland, with its dramatic geothermal landscape of geysers, bubbling mud pools and steaming lakes. Other optional excursions include visits to the working farm at Hobbiton and the surrounding rolling countryside. Free time today to explore at your own pace or join an organised shore excursion.
Day 19 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Arrive in the Bay of Islands, an area of subtropical beauty in New Zealand's far north. The bay is dotted with around 144 small islands, many uninhabited, with secluded coves, sheltered beaches and clear water. The historic town of Russell, briefly New Zealand's first capital, sits across the bay from the port at Paihia and offers colonial architecture and a quietly charming waterfront. Nearby, the Waitangi Treaty Grounds mark the site where the 1840 treaty between the British Crown and Maori chiefs was signed, an event central to New Zealand's national story.

Day 20 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Cross the Tasman Sea bound for Sydney. With two days of sailing ahead before reaching Australia, today is a chance to enjoy the final stretch of your voyage. Make the most of your remaining time onboard, settle outstanding accounts, and start to think about packing for disembarkation.
Day 21 - 22 Day Honolulu to Sydney - 19 night Celebrity Cruise
Your final full day at sea as Celebrity Edge sails towards Sydney. Use today to take in any final onboard experiences, enjoy a last meal at one of the ship's dining venues, and pack your bags ahead of tomorrow's early arrival in Sydney Harbour. Watch the sunset from your Infinite Veranda one final time.
Day 22 - Itinerary Day - Last day / Flight Day
Arrive into Sydney Harbour in the early morning. After a final breakfast onboard, disembark Celebrity Edge at the cruise terminal. For Sydney customers, this marks the end of your journey. For customers from Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth, transfer to Sydney Airport for your included onward domestic flight home.
