Trek the Machame Route to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro, moving through lowland forest and dry mountain desert with experienced local guides, porters and even a cook by your side. Watch the sun rise from Stella Point, then make the final exhilarating push to Uhuru Peak for hard-earned views from the top of Africa. Swap hiking boots for sandals on the island of Zanzibar. Explore Stone Town’s winding lanes and markets with a local guide, taste Zanzibari flavours and maybe visit a spice plantation before heading north for some rest and relaxation on white-sand beaches surrounded by turquoise water.

1. 1. A single supplement is available if you’d prefer not to share a room on this trip. You can choose to purchase a single supplement for the entire trip or for just the Zanzibar portion. Both options are subject to availability. Please speak to your booking agent for further information.
2. Please arrange your flights to arrive at starting point hotel before 4pm on Day 1 in order to attend the very important pre-climb briefing and information session.
3. This trip includes a domestic flight. Checked luggage allowance is a maximum of 20 kilograms, plus up to 5 kilograms carry on luggage. Any excess luggage charges will need to be paid directly to the airline at check-in.
4. You will be unescorted for the flight and Zanzibar portion of this trip. However, our local representatives will be on hand to look after you.
5. This trip finishes on the northern beaches of Zanzibar. Pre-bookable transfers back to Stone Town are available through your bookings consultant or your hotel can assist in arranging a taxi.
