On arrival at Athens airport transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Today enjoy a morning sightseeing tour. Drive through Athens city centre passing by Arc or Adriano’s, National gardens, Parliament and National library. Continue to Constitution Square, Russian Church, Anglican Church and Temple of Zeus. Stop at Panathinaiko Stadium and climb the steps to visit Acropolis and then Acropolis Museum. Afternoon free to explore “Plaka”. (B)

Transfer to the bus stop for bus/ferry transfer to Zakinthos (supplement applies for flight). On arrival transfer to the hotel. Enjoy free time to explore this Ionian island. The harbour city of Zakynthos is the capital and major hub, centred on the waterfront of Solomos Square. (B)

After breakfast, spend the day at leisure to explore the island famous for the Loggerhead Turtles. Visit any of the beautiful beaches, go snorkelling or even visit one of the many underwater caves. Accessed by boat, is the famous Navagio beach, which is the site of a famed 1980 shipwreck resting in a sandy cove framed by cliffs. (B)

Take a stroll through Zakynthos Town, built on the ruins of the previous settlement to preserve the traditional architecture. There you will find The New Museum, home to artwork in the Byzantine and post-Byzantine style, and The Museum Solomos and Kalvas. In the evening enjoy Zakynthos’ vivid nightlife with a wide selection of restaurants and bars available. (B)

In the morning transfer to Agios Nikoloas port for a Ferry to Pessada Port, Kefalonia. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Day at leisure to explore the Island with suggested visits to Emblisi Beach, the bay is beautiful and ideal for snorkelling. On both sides of the bay you can also find ideal sunbathing spots on the flat rocks. (B)

The largest of the Ionian Islands, Kefalonia is home to many amazing caves. One of the most famous is the Melissani Cave, situated just outside of Sami. Other suggestions include a visit to the cave of Drogarati, known as the ‘Concert Cave’, which features a large chamber well below ground. For those interested in a little relaxation, a visit to Myrtos Beach is a must, commonly referred to as pure paradise. (B)

The Monastery of Agios Gerasimos is considered one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Kefalonia hosting a great number of visitors. Saint Gerasimos is said to be the protector Saint of Kefalonia. Today, his relics are saved in double glass reliquary placed above the saint’s tomb. Those looking to understand more about this beautiful island can also visit the 16 Century Venetian Castle of Assos. (B)
