Spent the morning at your leisure. We recommend a visit to the Grand Bazaar. Be picked up from your hotel after lunch for a private tour of The Egyptian Museum - one of the greatest museums of the World. Here you’ll see Tutankhamun’s treasures. Afterwards your tour guide will escort you to the train station where you will board an overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner will be served on board. (B, D)  

Upon arrival in the early morning you will be met and transferred to your cruise vessel with embarkation before lunch. After lunch enjoy a felucca ride around the Botanical Gardens and Elephantine Island. From your vantage point on the felucca you will see Agha Khan Mausoleum, situated on the top of a hill, commanding a magnificent view of Aswan area. After breakfast visit the High Dam and Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Continue with a leisurely sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit its temple located on the banks of the Nile. Sail to Edfu. (B, L, D) 

Breakfast on board. Visit the Temple of Horus which is considered by most to be the best preserved cult temple in Egypt. According to the Egyptian myths it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth. After lunch sail to Luxor. The morning tour of the West Bank will take you to visit the Valley of the Kings. From Thutmose I in the eighteenth Dynasty of the New Kingdom period all the kings, and occasionally high officials of that period, were buried in the secluded wadi, or dry gully, which today is called Valley of the Kings. Continue your tour with a visit to Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple and then admire giant statues called Colossi of Memnon. After lunch travel along the avenue of ramheaded sphinxes to Luxor and Karnak Temple - the main centre of worship in ancient Egypt. (B, L, D)
