After breakfast depart for a full day of sightseeing of Cairo. Begin with a guided tour of the magnificent Sphinx, which stands guarding the majestic Pyramids of Giza. Admire these manmade marvels, which have stood the test of time. Continue on to a tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum, largest and one of the most famous museums in the world. See numerous priceless treasures discovered over the years from many different periods of Egyptian History, including the golden mask of Tutankhamun. Return to your hotel for overnight. (B)

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival transfer to your cruise vessel. After an on board lunch enjoy a tour of the East Bank of the Nile, including the famed Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Karnak is known for being the largest ancient religious site in the world. This morning, travel to the other side, the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. These are some of the most popular sites to see in Egypt and it’s easy to see why. Visit the Temple of Horus this morning – built as a tribute to the God Horus. This Temple is considered to be the second largest and best-preserved Temple in Egypt. Sail further along the Nile to visit the twin temples at Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile god and Haroeris the falcon god. Continue onto Aswan for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D) 

After breakfast enjoy a morning of sightseeing in this southern city. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae Temple, now in its new place after being moved due to flooding. After a quick lunch on board the ship, enjoy a relaxing afternoon cruising around and visiting the Botanical Garden via traditional wooden felucca. (B, L, D)

After breakfast disembark your Nile Cruise vessel and transfer to the other side of the dam to board the Lake Nasser Cruise. All the cabins on Mövenpick Prince Abbas vessel feature private balconies. After an on board lunch enjoy a visit to the Kalabsha Temple, an Egyptian Temple built during Roman Times, in what was once known as Nubia. Continue onto Beit El Wali, a temple built by Ramses The Great. Continue on to the Hathor flanked columns, known as the Kiosk of Kertassi, before returning to the boat for dinner and overnight. Enjoy an early morning sail to Wadi El Seboua, passing over the Tropic of Cancer. Visit the Temple built in honour of Ramses the Great, then to the temples at Dakka and Meharakka. Sail on to Amada for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D) 

Visit temples in Amada and Derr, as well as the Tomb of Penout. Next stop is Kasr Ibrim, where you’ll admire the Citadel while listening to the tour conducted from the comfort of the sundeck (entrance not permitted). Finally sail onto the famed temples of Abu Simbel. Taken from the likeness of Ramses the Great and his wife Nefertari, these colossal statues stand guard over their respective temples.
