    Some things to note

    Please note:

    • Due to luggage restrictions, on day 2 you will need to pack a small bag only for your three night stay in the Amazon Jungle. Your remaining luggage will be stored in Puerto Maldonado until your return. Electricity is at a premium in the Amazon and you may only have access to power for a couple of hours a day. If you require a battery at night for medical reasons the lodge hotel can provide this but there may be an additional small charge for this service. 
    • You will need to pack an overnight bag (maximum of 5 kilograms per bag) for your overnight stay in Machu Picchu. Due to limited space on the trains you are unable to take your main suitcase, it will however, be transferred to the hotel in Cusco so it is there for when you arrive. We suggest you bring an umbrella, spray jacket and strong insect repellent with you. 

    Inca Trail Permit

    • $995pp – Minimum and maximum numbers may apply. Solo supplementary pricing applies. This option must be pre-booked. Not available in February. Good physical fitness is required for this high-altitude trek.

    All optional excursions are based on minimum participants and are subject to availability. The length of optional excursions advised is an approximate only. Optional excursions can be booked on tour directly with your Tour Director or guide. We recommend arranging the booking at the beginning of the tour to avoid disappointment. Please note some optional excursions may also be available on multiple or alternate days. Prices are a guide only and are subject to change without prior notice. Payment by cash is preferred as there are no guarantees that credit card facilities will be available. Please check with your Tour Director or guide locally for information relating to this.
