Orientation tour of Heidelberg with free time: From Mannheim, you will transfer by coach to Heidelberg. Set out on a walking tour of the Old Town, admiring its historic buildings, beautiful squares and the World Heritage-listed Cologne Cathedral. The city is also home to one of the most spectacular Christmas trees in the Rhineland, which is the centrepiece of the Cathedral Christmas Market in front of the gothic masterpiece that is Kölner Dom.

With a later departure tonight, you will have some free time to explore the city on your own and soak up more of the festive spirit.

Relax on board this morning as you cruise through the picturesque Rhine Gorge, where the landscapes could have been pulled from the pages of a fairytale.
