This morning, transfer by coach to Zermatt. Nestled at the foot of Europe’s most famous mountain, the 4,478-metre Matterhorn, the popular resort village of Zermatt looks as though it has been plucked from the pages of a fairytale. When the landscape is blanketed in thick white snow, visitors flock here for exhilarating winter sports, and in summer they come to hike more than 100 trails that weave around its valleys, lakes and ridges.

Wake in Zermatt today and breathe in the crisp mountain air as the early morning sun sparkles on the snow-covered slopes of the Matterhorn.
