The surrounding vineyards also produce signature white varietals – viognier, marsanne and roussanne.

Wandering its narrow, zig-zagging lanes, you will feel as though little has changed in the past 1,600 years. Viviers also has a fascinating connection with the French Resistance and is bordered by the vineyards of the Côtes du Rhône.
