Transfer from the airport in Thessaloniki to your hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is at leisure to discover and explore the city. Overnight in Thessaloniki. Overnight in Thessaloniki at  Capsis Hotel 4* or similar. 

After breakfast, your guide will lead you through the discovery of beautiful Thessaloniki, a city that boasts 2300 years of history, and a city that is literally an open-air museum. The highlights of the tour are the White Tower, the symbol of the city, the archaeological museum, the picturesque old town, the Byzantine church of St. Demetrius, the Arch of Galerius, the Rotunda church and the lively city centre. You may remain in town for shopping or a walk along the seaside. Overnight in Thessaloniki. (B)

Start the journey visiting the ancient city of Dion, the ancient religious city of the Macedonian Kingdom, a sacred place dedicated to the cult of Zeus. Visit the Dion Museum and the temples of the site dedicated to the gods Zeus, Demeter and Isis, unique mosaic floors and ancient baths and ruins. Next stop is Stavros, view point of the Mount Olympus, the mythical seat of the twelve gods. Tour ends at the picturesque village Old Panteleimon, free time to discover the narrow stone paved streets, the cute houses, the hidden taverns and coffee shops. After lunch, return to Thessaloniki. After breakfast, start the tour in the archaeological site of Ancient Pella, known as the old Capital of Macedonia and the birthplace of Alexander the Great. By the experienced guide explore rooms with well-preserved mosaic floors of the 4th century B.C to picture the predominance of the Ancient Kingdom of Macedonia. Next stop is the so called “City of Water”, the magnificent Edessa. Admire the breathtaking waterfall “Karano” ,the frothy rivers with over 47 bridges. After free time for a local lunch, enjoy a wine tasting experience at a local winery, famours worldwide for the "Xinomavro" wine variety. Return back for overnight at hotel in Thessaloniki. After breakfast, tour Meteora, a monument characterized as one of the “Treasures of the World” by UNESCO. The rocks have been exploited by the monks of Holy Mount Athos and built monasteries on top of each rock pillar. Discover by a guided tour two of the most important and most well preserved of the total six monasteries of the complex. After a lunch break in the beautiful village of Kalambaka located at the foothills of the rock formations return to Thessaloniki and overnight at the hotel. (B)

After breakfast, head towards the ancient Vergina, the first capital of the Ancient Macedonia. Enter into the tomb of King Philip the II , father of Alexander the Great, which was excavated in 1977, protected by UNESCO. Visit the museum and discover the Hellinistic period, admire Macedonian treasures. Continue the day in Veria, admire Byzantine churches and temples. Free time for lunch. Moving on to the ancient city of Mieza, the school of the great philosopher Aristotle, where Alexander the Great of Macedonia received his first and most important lessons about Philosophy, Morals, Religion and Art. Return to Thessaloniki and overnight at the hotel. (B)

After breakfast, the day starts in Halkidiki’s region, passing by Volvi and Koroneia lakes, with a guided tour at the Acropolis of Ancient Stagira, the birthplace of the philosopher Aristoteles, the teacher and mentor of Alexander the Great. Next stop is at the port of Ouranoupolis to embark for the cruise of Mount Athos where you can admire from a close distance (from the boat), the biggest orthodox monastery complex. After the cruise, free time for lunch or a walk in the village. Last stop is the “Aristoteles park” . Experiment with the original interactive instruments influenced by the inventions of Aristoteles based on the laws of physics. Return to Thessaloniki. (B)
