Your Itinerary
Today marks the beginning of your West Coast adventure. On arrival in Darwin, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Later this afternoon, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of Darwin including a visit to the fascinating Royal Flying Doctor Service Tourist Facility. Tonight, get to know your fellow travellers during a Welcome Dinner.
Day 2 - Darwin, Katherine
Early this morning, travel to Adelaide River and remember fallen soldiers at the heritage-listed Adelaide River War Cemetery. After having time to explore, head to Nitmiluk Gorge and embark on a guided cruise. Afterwards, continue on to the famous remote town of Katherine.
Day 3 - Katherine, Kununurra
Departing Katherine, you’ll cross the border into Western Australia. Head to Kununurra and undertake a town tour.
Day 4 - Kununurra, Ord River, Lake Argyle
This morning, join a wildlife cruise along the iconic Ord River. Then, see Lake Argyle, a huge freshwater lake known to many as the Jewel of the Kimberley.
Day 5 - Kununurra, El Questro Wilderness Park
Travel along the Gibb River Road into El Questro Wilderness Park then head to Zebedee Springs and take a dip in the natural thermal pools. Then, set off on a guided cruise along Chamberlain Gorge, where the river carves a path through the sheer rock face. Later, perhaps walk to Emma Gorge.
Day 6 - Kununurra, Wyndham, Halls Creek
Visit Wyndham this morning, before marveling at the scenery as you travel through the breathtaking Kimberley landscapes on the way to Halls Creek. Enjoy staying in the heart of the remote Kimberley region.
Day 7 - Halls Creek, Yiyili, Fitzroy Crossing
Enjoy an Insider Experience in Yiyili, then continue to the remote township of Fitzroy Crossing, set on the banks of the magnificent Fitzroy River.
Day 8 - Fitzroy Crossing, Broome
Skirt along the southern edge of the Kimberley region on the way to the beaches of Broome. Enjoy a guided tour of this historic pearling town and discover its fascinating history. Broome is sure to delight.
Today is yours to spend at leisure in Broome. Perhaps go for a stroll through town, relax on the white sands of Cable Beach or set out for some optional touring.
Day 10 - Broome, Great Sandy Desert, Port Hedland
Farewell Broome and travel through the vast Great Sandy Desert today to Port Hedland, a bustling town surrounded by natural beauty.
Day 11 - Port Hedland, Karijini National Park
Set off from Port Hedland today and journey inland over the remote and rugged landscapes of Karijini National Park. Karijini is Western Australia’s second largest national park and is filled with sheer gorges and cascading waterfalls.
Day 12 - Tom Price, Karijini National Park
This morning you’ll visit the remote mining town of Tom Price, nestled deep in the Hamersley Range. Here, enjoy a tour of the Tom Price Mine before returning to Karijini. This afternoon, experience the beauty of the park on visits to the stunning oases of Joffre Falls and Dales Gorge, where crystal-clear water and vibrant rock amphitheatres provide a haven in the outback setting.
Day 13 - Karijini National Park, Exmouth
Travelling west from Karijini National Park, you’ll pass through the striking ancient outback landscapes of the Pilbara. Spectacular, sparsely populated, and containing evidence of both the world’s oldest pre-historic lifeforms and oldest continuous living culture, the Pilbara is a privilege to explore. Admire the scenery during your journey to the scenic town of Exmouth.
Day 14 - Ningaloo Reef Marine Park, Exmouth
Visit the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park for today’s Insider Experience. Continue to Vlamingh Head for stunning views of Western Australia’s coastline and the North West Cape.
Day 15 - Exmouth, Monkey Mia
Set out for World Heritage-listed Shark Bay and enjoy today’s Insider Experiences.
Day 16 - Monkey Mia, Kalbarri
Start today with a magical dolphin encounter at the daily feeding experience (subject to appearance). Enjoy the chance to stand on the sand within metres of these friendly creatures. Following today’s sensational Insider Experience on the bay, continue to the sleepy seaside town of Kalbarri.
Day 17 - Kalbarri, Nambung National Park, The Pinnacles, Perth
Enjoy the Kalbarri Skywalk this morning, taking in incredible views of the spectacular Murchison River Gorge and surrounding area. Travel to Nambung National Park to see the spectacular Pinnacles rise out of the desert sand. Then, continue to Perth, where you’ll enjoy a special Farewell Dinner.
After a tour of Perth today, you’ll transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
