Your journey begins today as you are met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy a Welcome Breakfast, before a city tour to explore the sights of Toronto. Later, travel to Niagara Falls for a cruise to Horseshoe Falls (raincoats provided).
Day 3 - 1000 Islands, Ottawa
Join a picturesque cruise around the pretty 1000 Islands of the St Lawrence Seaway. Later, sit down to this evening’s Insider Experience.
Take a guided tour of Ottawa. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps tour the Canadian Museum of History or enjoy a two-hour bicycle tour through the heart of Canada’s beautiful capital (own expense).
Day 5 - Ottawa, Quebec City
Stop at Parc Omega and search for Canadian wildlife. On arrival in Quebec City, enjoy a free evening to explore, or perhaps check out the local restaurants for dinner.
Enjoy a day at leisure or perhaps choose to cruise the St Lawrence River or take a walking tour of Quebec City (own expense). This evening, enjoy an Insider Experience.
Day 7 - Quebec City, Montreal
Journey to Montreal today and enjoy a city sightseeing tour.
Explore the sights of Montréal. Experience it’s thriving arts and culture scene with many museums, galleries and theatres. See beautiful buildings and monuments such as Notre Dame Basilica and explore the many beautiful parks and outdoor spaces. then enjoy time at leisure. Tonight, dine at a local restaurant.
Day 9 - Montreal, Vancouver
Fly from Montreal to Vancouver today (flight not included).
Take a tour of the city. Fall in love with the beautiful city of Vancouver and discover some of its most vibrant districts and best-loved attractions on a sightseeing tour, including the Waterfront and historic Gastown, before a day at leisure.
Day 11 - Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops
Board the Rocky Mountaineer and relax in your SilverLeaf carriage while you admire the stunning scenery from the comfort of your seat Later, arrive in Kamloops.
Day 12 - Rocky Mountaineer, Lake Louise
Your journey continues via the Spiral Tunnels and Kicking Horse Canyon to Banff National Park. Enjoy today’s Insider Experience at Lake Louise.
Visit Moraine Lake (weather permitting) before arriving in Banff for a tour and this evening’s Insider Experience.
Enjoy today at your leisure. You might like to join a heli-flightseeing tour, watch for wildlife on a scenic Bow River float trip or take a River Explorer tour (own expense).
Day 15 - Banff, Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper
Journey along the Icefields Parkway and stop at Athabasca Glacier for a ride on an Ice Explorer. Then continue to Jasper.
Day 16 - Jasper, Blue River, Sun Peaks
Spend the morning in Jasper before departing for Sun Peaks, passing Mt Robson on your way. Stop for lunch at River Safari in Blue River.
Day 17 - Sun Peaks, Whistler
After breakfast, travel to Whistler and enjoy some free time.
Day 18 - Whistler, Victoria
Take a ferry across the Georgia Strait.
Perhaps choose a select experience such as a whale-watching cruise (own expense). Later, enjoy an Insider Experience.
Day 20 - Victoria, Vancouver, Embark Cruise
Travel to Vancouver and board your premium cruise ship.
Enjoy a full day on the open water at the start of your journey through the Inside Passage. Relax and take in the majestic scenery, which lines this famous stretch of coastline, as your ship cruises past dramatic rocky headlands and glides over the icy waters of the world-famous Inside Passage.
Today your adventure brings you to Alaska’s capital, Juneau. There is time to explore the region’s glacial terrain and gold rush history or you may prefer to make your way to the town and explore the rustic shops located here. You might also like to join an exhilarating dog sled ride over a glacier or try one of the other activities on offer. These include sampling delicious salmon baked over a fire or even trying your hand at panning for gold in this former gold rush town (own expense).
This morning you’ll dock at the historic port of Skagway, located at the northernmost point of the Inside Passage. Skagway huddles below mountains and was once a frontier town and gateway to the Klondike. You’ll soon discover that this is a place that still celebrates its gold rush past to this day.
In town, you’ll find a variety of stores and saloons that capture the excitement and history of the gold rush days. Here, there are also opportunities to learn more about gold prospecting or view local wildlife (own expense).
Wake up to the breathtaking sight of Glacier Bay National Park this morning, with its formidable rivers of ice, wild coastline and sheltered fjords. As you cruise through the national park, it is easy to see why this stunning region is regarded as a national monument and has received World Heritage status.
Today, you’ll gain an insight into the unique nature of this national park as local rangers join you on board, to explain the geology and wildlife found in this region.
Arrive today in the Alaskan city of Ketchikan, regarded as the salmon capital of the world. Enjoy free time here to relax and explore the town at your leisure.
Alternatively, perhaps join a walking tour of the town or learn about the history of Tlingit culture during a visit to Saxman Native Village (own expense). Here, you’ll discover an extensive collection of Native American totem poles on display.
Spend the day cruising south through the Inside Passage. There is time to relax and enjoy the premium facilities of your ship while you take in the incredible views. This evening, join a final dinner on board.
Day 27 - Disembark Cruise, Depart Vancouver
This morning, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
