You will be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel, located in the heart of New York.
Meet your fellow guests and Tour Director at a Welcome Breakfast this morning. After breakfast, enjoy an exciting sightseeing tour of the city, which ensures you’ll cover the Big Apple’s many highlights, from Central Park to Times Square. Of course, no visit to New York would be complete without a visit to the city’s iconic Empire State Building. Completed in 1931, during the Great Depression era, this art deco-style landmark remained New York’s tallest building for some 40 years. This afternoon, enjoy time to make your own discoveries. You might choose to head for one of the city’s museums, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) with its world-famous art collection or the American Museum of Natural History. Alternatively, you may prefer to take a ferry ride to Liberty Island, home to America’s archetypal monument, the Statue of Liberty, or perhaps enjoy some retail therapy at Macy’s Herald Square, one of the world’s largest department stores.
Day 3 - New York, Washington DC
Spend time at leisure this morning in New York before your journey to Washington DC. Known for its iconic landmarks, museums and political significance, explore famous monuments and a buzzing cultural scene in the U.S capital. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Explore Washington DC on a guided tour to visit historical monuments like the Lincoln Memorial and Capitol Hill, and the ever-impressive White House. Learn about the political significance of the U.S capital and its rich history. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Aside from Washington DC’s historical and political landscape, there’s a wealth of museums, art and culture to discover. Perhaps explore some of the Smithsonian Institution’s extensive collection of museums, galleries, gardens and a zoo, many of which line the city’s famous National Mall. They showcase America’s journey through subjects as diverse as space, natural history and art.
Day 5 - Washington DC, Lancaster
Today your journey takes you to Lancaster County, home to the religious Amish and Mennonite communities who are known for their simple living traditional values, agriculture-based lifestyle, strong sense of community and rejection of modern technology. During your stay, you’ll have the chance to gain an understanding of their everyday lives.
Day 6 - Lancaster, Niagara Falls
Your journey continues today as you head for the Canada border and Niagara Falls. See the spectacular sight of Niagara Falls, which is collectively made up of three impressive waterfalls and enjoy an Insider Experience tonight.
Day 7 - Niagara Falls, Toronto
This morning board a thrilling boat cruise for a journey to the base of Horseshoe Falls (raincoats provided). This is the largest of the three falls. You might also like to enhance your journey and take an exciting helicopter flight for aerial views over Niagara Falls (own expense).
Travel to Toronto and check in to your hotel, located in the heart of the action in downtown Toronto.
This morning join a city tour that will take you to the picturesque waterfront districts of Toronto. The afternoon is spent at leisure or exploring more of this beautiful city. Visit the iconic CN Tower, vibrant neighbourhoods like Kensington Market and Distillery District and cultural attractions such as the Royal Ontario museum and Art Gallery of Ontario. Toronto boasts a rich multicultural cuisine scene and offers flavours from all around the world at its many restaurants and cafes.
Day 9 - 1000 Islands, Ottawa
Continue on your journey to Ottawa today. Along the way, enjoy a cruise around the 1000 Islands of the St Lawrence Seaway. Cruise past tiny islands, castles reminiscent of fairytales and island mansions. You’ll be taken back to a time when pirates and bootleggers roamed the area, as well as the Gilded Age, when the rich and famous made this region their personal playground.
The first half of the day will be dedicated to discovering the treasures of Ottawa. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour, during which you will visit the Gothic Parliament Hill and visit the historic Rideau Canal, which winds its way through the heart of the city. The rest of the day is yours to explore at leisure.
Day 11 - Ottawa, Montreal
After breakfast this morning, your journey continues to Montreal. Enjoy a drive-through experience in Parc Omega. As your vehicle winds through the park, passing meadows, lakes and forests, watch for wildlife, like moose, deer and wolves. There’s time to get to know this European-influenced city during an afternoon sightseeing tour. You’ll discover quintessentially French city, which excels at blending both old and new, from the elegant cobblestone streets of Old Montreal to the city’s contemporary waterfront. This evening, there’s time to relax and perhaps dine at a local restaurant.

Montreal offers an array of culinary and cultural attractions, thanks to its French influence, eclectic food scene and famous festival line up. Day 13 - Montreal, Quebec City
Farewell Montreal after breakfast this morning and travel to Quebec City. On arrival, enjoy a guided discovery tour. This evening, there’s time to relax and perhaps dine at a local restaurant.

Day 15 - Quebec City, Embark Cruise
This morning after breakfast, transfer and board your premium ship for your New England voyage. There’s time to settle in and enjoy the array of amenities available.
Enjoy a day at leisure cruising the Saint Lawrence River. The nearly 1,200-kilometer (750-mile) stretch of the St. Lawrence River is a lighthouse lover’s paradise, with more than 40 of them lining the Quebec portion alone.
After breakfast this morning, enjoy a leisurely day cruising the beautiful Gulf of St Lawrence, defined by stunning coastline.
Day 18 - Prince Edward Island
Prince Edward Island may be Canada’s smallest province, but it’s big on history. With time at leisure, perhaps visit the island’s capital of Charlottetown to delve into the region’s past. Alternatively, you may prefer to see the Anne of Green Gables homestead and enjoy time at this well-known literary landmark, set in pretty surrounds (own expense).
Spend the day in and around Sydney on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Where the island’s French-influenced name belies its Celtic connections. You will discover cheerfully colourful highland villages, the beautiful coastal scenery of the Cabot Trail, as well as the Fortress of Louisbourg, which was once one of North America’s busiest 18th-century seaports.
For ocean scenery at its best, it is hard to beat Nova Scotia’s south shore. Arrive in Halifax this morning, with free time to perhaps visit Peggy’s Cove and the German village of Lunenburg. Then head back to Halifax where you might like to visit the ramparts of Halifax Citadel or a museum which commemorates the Titanic.
Discover the eclectic mix of neighbourhoods including the trendy Pearl District and artsy Alberta Arts District. Day 22 - Boston, Disembark Cruise
Disembark your ship in Boston, then transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
